It was time to test out the new camper. Jeff, My Sis, Pippa, Tiger, Chewy, Jesse and I went to a campground on Green Mountain Res outside of Silverthorne CO. We left Friday and got there at night. We had a little trouble getting a fire to start but it finally lit up. Before I could finish my first beer it started raining. Into the camper we go and it rains all night. Sucks that it is raining but glad we had a spacious camper to relax in. Woke up Sat morning, still raining, and headed to Keystone. Since it was still raining we figured we would cook breakfast there. It finally cleared up a little and we got one run in until it started raining again. Back into the camper. Then in started hailing, retreated for safety in the camper. Finally cleared up again and we took one more run and it started to rain again. We packed up and headed home.

As you can see it wasn't the best weekend for camping but we all realized that if not for the camper we all would have been miserable.

OK So i sold my old camper and got a new one.

Here she is. She fits my truck much better than the old Palomino. I will probably use some ridid foam insulation on the floor for a little more clearance but also some floor insulation for winter camping.
I'll be testing her out this weekend in Steamboat.
When I get some free time I will be putting new stickers on the camper to match the color of my truck better.
