Sick day today at Vail Pass. Me and Jaimie got there around 11:30. Did some nice trailriding and found some great powder fields.

Well I've been slacking on my updates. Not much has happen. Last week I drove up to Brek because it was snowing pretty good up there. Got a late start and got on the Mountain by 10ish. I met Andy at the bottom. Took a handful of runs and headed into lunch. Of course my knee was hurting and then a food started to settle so I never made it back out. I was suppose to meet Jeff later that night to head to Steamboat but he wasn't feeling well so I headed back to Nederland. Friday and Saturday I took some runs at Eldora. Nothing crazy on the powder side but it was nice to relax and just carve some big turns.

I've been pretty busy the last week. Working with a local guy to install a propane heat system in the van. This will help a lot. Also I've rethought another layout for the van and will hopefully begin another transformation tomorrow. I need to also have some steering bushing replaced. The steering is getting a little loose.

I've been meeting with a start up company out here in Denver. Pretty cool product that only launched in the middle of December. There are only 6 people and they are in the process of closing their seed round of financing. It's exactly what I am looking for and the energy there seems great. I am suppose to hear back on an offer tomorrow. I hope we can come to some agreement. Of course I have a lot of ideas going through my head and have to understand that this is not NYC. It should be really fun and exciting so I am keeping my fingers crossed at the same time I realize what my experience is worth.

Anyway, Sunday I plan on hitting Vail pass with a bunch of people to do some sledskiing. I will tow Andy and Matt. Jeff will tow another two and Jamie (Jeff's friend) will tow another two. Should be a lot of fun and hopefully the snow is still soft.

Next week Todd is coming into town so It should be fun.
Week after that is Fa Fa's Bachelor Party.
Then out to Utah
Then going to Crested Butte

If I get this job I will have to cut some of these short.

Sorry no pics this time but I plan on taking a lot this Sunday

It's been a great week. My sister was at Breckinridge with a bunch of people. On Wed I drove up to Breckinridge and spent the night at Andy's place. Tiger and Toby got along really good. Tiger liked Toby A LOT. It snowed Wed night and Thursday morning I met my sister at her condo and headed to the mountain. It was cold and windy but the snow was incredible. I felt myself coming down with a cold so I was feeling like crap most of the day. We headed straight for lift 6 and were the first to make fresh tracks under the chairlift. The mountain had some great terrain and the snow was deep. It was Andy, Matt (Andy's Bro) & my sister for the first few runs. After that we met up with my sisters friends and another dude. We were a group of 10 and amazingly we didn;t get split up or slow down. I was suprised. Right before we took a break i went off a rock and took a nice spill. Completly twisted up my knee. We skied pretty much the whole day and went to a crazy parade in town. Basically it was just a bunch of drunk people on floats.

I was feeling pretty sick and my knee was killing me so I headed back to Ned that night. Friday, I slept all day, took alot of drugs and my knee was shot. It sucked because my sister was in town and I wanted to ski with them.

Saturday I felt a lot better and so did the knee. Miss Gomez sent us some Airborne and I think it worked. I've never kicked the flu/cold in 1 day. Jeff and I headed to A-Basin to meet my sister in the afternoon. I felt good until I went off the first jump and completly tweeked my knee. It hurt so bad I had to call it a day. We had dinner at Liz's condo that night and we spent the night in a Walmart parking lot in Frisco.

Sunday my knee was still hurting so we decided just to chill out most of the day. We drove around Breckinridge looking for a place to snowmobile but basically ended up taking a nap in an empty parking lot we found on the edge of town. That night we went out to dinner with my sister and her group at Steak and Rib. Food was awesome.

It snowed Sunday night and we skied a half a day on Monday. Snow was great. A little cold. Knee was OK. I got lucky and picked up a ticket for $20 from the ski guy at the hotel. There was about 3-4 inches of new snow and my sister could only ski the morning because her flight left later that day.

All in All a great week. Thanks to Kim (Andy's wife) I skied for $30 on Thursday. My sister paid for practically all my food and I picked up a cheap ticket on Monday (which is good for another day until this Thursday).

PS. I'm done complaining about my knee

Went to The Boat again this past weekend. Got up early on Sat morning and headed out. Luckily when I was getting my lift ticket some random guy was trying to get rid of a two day ticket. So I paid $60 for a 2 day ticket. Thank god it wasn't a scam.

Saturday was OK. Weather was real nice and sunny but the snow was a little skied out and heavy. That night we ordered 125 wings from the Tap House. 4 of us ate the hole thing. My body didn't like it.

Jeff and I slept in the van. We ran an extension cord into the garage of the house of one of Jeff's friends. I was so hot I had to turn down the heater. We had our new configuration in the van and it worked well. I have some other ideas and am going to work those out with my friend in Breckinridge.

Sunday woke up to about 5 inches of snow on the van. Had breakfast and hit the mountain. There were 4 of us and at least 6-8 inches of new snow. Visability was pretty bad and right before lunch the winds picked up and we had to retreat into the lodge. After lunch the weather cleared up and we hit our "secret stash" loop. It was amazing fresh tuns in a small bowl and then into some trees that most people don't know about.

Today my body is killing me and I'm exausted. My sister is coming into town this week so I'll be skiing with her. I plan on leaving Wed to Breckinridge to stay with Andy (friend from Hartwick). We'll probably go out for some beers, maybe meet up with my sister if she gets into town early enough and ski Breck on Thursday. Andy is also going to help me with the van layout.

One more thing............ It is suppose to snow again on WED night....... Hopefully adding another POW POW day to my list.

Happy New Year!!! I was still trying to recover from Steamboat so I stayed in and did nothing on New Years Eve. Weather is great here and I am working on a new layout for the van and also just started insulating it.

Now that all the holidaze are over it's time for me to start looking for a job. So the search begins. I have a few nice leads already (local and away) so we'll see what happens. I'd love to find something out here or semi virtual so i can stay out here.

If the wind isn't too strong today I may go take a few runs at eldora.

Before my trip i bought new skis. Solomon Pocket Rockets size 175. Last yeat i broke my Volkl G3 Vertigo's and my dad thought he found the same pair but they were the womens model. These are Big Mountain skis and float real nice on the powder, cut through the crude and I haven't had a problem carving on the groomers.

Tiger says Hi!
